Jack Golden is a New England based award winning scenic designer who has worked for companies across the upper midwest and throughout the east coast including:The Kennedy Center (DC), The Wick Theatre (FL), Hangar Theatre (NY), NextStop Theatre Co (VA), Bristol Valley Theatre (NY), The Gallery Players (NY), Onomatopoeia Theatre (NY), Randomly Specific Theatre (NY), Thelma Theatre Co (DC), Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre (MA), Ozark Actors Theatre (MO), Thunder Bay Theatre (MI), Theatre B (ND), and Dakota Stage (ND). He has also assisted at Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OR), Hartford Stage (CT), The Huntington (MA), Baltimore Center Stage (MD), Studio Theatre (DC), Arena Stage (DC), Woolly Mammoth (DC), Hangar Theatre (DC), Roundhouse Theatre Co. (DC), and the Harbor Stage Co (MA) among many others. Jack was featured in American Theatre magazine's "Role Call - People to Watch" in January 2018. He won the 2017 Broadway World Regional Reader's Choice award (DC area) for "Most Creative Scenic Design (Small Professional Theatre)". He also won second place at the 2014 region V KCACTF scenic design competition. He has taught as an adjunct professor at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and at the Ramapo College of New Jersey. He is currently an Assistant Professor of theatrical design and production at Berkshire Community College. MFA University of Maryland, College Park. BFA North Dakota State University.
